My Journey

For over thirty years, I have guided both youth and young adults in understanding their academic and extra-curricular options, in recognizing their full potential, and in planning for their future. For the past decade, I've focused on providing educational consulting services, working with students from a variety of backgrounds and needs, and supporting families through the challenges of educational planning.

I am free to have a more comprehensive conversation with families and adult learners in exploring options. While I am globally connected to educational consultants, school administrations, college admissions and financial aid counselors around the world, I am totally independent, operating with only the student’s best interest in mind.  I do not  act as an agent or employee for any college, high school, test prep company, or educational consultant, nor do I accept fees for placement from any entity. I adhere to the NACAC and IECA Principles of Best Practices.

My Experience

Working in a private high-school, completing a practicum at a first-generation, inner-city public high school, and having my own two children graduate from suburbia public high school while directing a Public ISD community-based tutoring program, have all solidified my belief that education is not a one-size fits all. Check out my experience here.

My CAmpus VIsits

One of the distinguishing features of educational consultants, particularly IECA members, is that they visit numerous campuses. Check out the list of campuses I have visited in the US and abroad. Click on the links to visit each school's website.
